I don't think we can expect too much from any team. Next year will be the year with big changes so that winter will be great. I don't think any presentation this year will include more than small livery changes, different sponsors and a few aerodynamic modifications.

And which team would really want to 'hide' their stepped nose? I completely agree with Allison, it's just extra ballast. Perhaps Ferrari will be the only exception.

Nots if the aerodynamical benefit is bigger than the weight-penalty...

This was in the Press Pack

Seems the teams haven't been told of the German GP situation any more than fans know.

That would make the most epic track on the calendar!

The new Ferrari according to Marca does not have the step on the nose...

Those drawings by Marca always turn out to be nothing like the real car.

For all the German affiliations that F1 has for there to be no race right now is sad.

Marca were right about the stepped nose (I think it was them) before we'd seen any of the other cars released (I think) ... and they were half right about the things they predicted on the side of the F2012 cockpit but they exaggerated them a little. Might even have been borderline accurate on the side pods as well ...

A real shame if we don't get a German GP, I hope it's not a sign of more things to come.

I strongly doubt Germany will be out of the calendar, the race will probably be held at Hockenheim again but it's really sad that a track with the history that Nürburgring has is going under so much trouble lately.

Is Vettel that unpopular in Germany? Normally when a country get's a World Champion the interest rises pretty hard (Alonso in Spain, JB and LH in the UK). But in Germany it doesn't look like they care much about him?

I doubt it's that, but Bernie charges too much. Remember that both circuits saw money coming in with Schumacher, so Vettel is kind of just prolonging that. It isn't like with Spain, when there was nothing before.

The financial crisis is hitting F1. Although with the Nurburgring, building that rollercoaster was a monumentally stupid idea.

They care, actually, but not as much as about Schumacher. I mean, not everyone knows Vettel, but everyone knows Michael.
It seems like in Germany we are kinda spoiled with Schumacher's success and now with Vettel's... 8 championships in the past 12 years are really a lot.

Other topic, is there any hint who will replace Glock? Petrov maybe?

Petrov's manager denied talks with either Marussia or Force India. Seems like they are trying to keep him in the current team.
