I don't think it was caught by the cameras, it was so early in the race and we could only see his car crashed in the background at Curva do Sol in the backstraight camera.

This is the best race I have ever seen, and I've seen them all since 1997. Not only was it full of excitement from qualifying onwards, but it was full of insane twists that makes 2008 race look like just another race. The best race I've seen, the best season I've ever seen. Infact, this race was like a highlight reel of this whole season.

I only have one negative thing to say:

J.Morelli is pathetic. This doesn't get any better from this and you are complaining? If you were not joking, then go play with Legos or something else, stop posting that kind of crap in here.

I've been following F1 since 1989 and it was probably the best race I've ever seen. The way you describe it is perfect. Just hope next year can be as good as 2012 was, what a fantastic season for F1.

Thanks. I'm only fearing that next year is going to be boring as hell. We've been spoiled this year really. Even the most boring races would have been rated somewhere around 7/10 if those had happened during mid-00's. What a year. What. A. YEAR.

I only noticed Maldonado being out around halfway point. Damn, that was a big one. Let's hope there's a replay.

This race, this championship finale is why F1 is still the best in my book, fantastic!

Such a bitter sweet event, with the end of an era - Michael Schumacher's final race - truly the best ever! I have followed F1 since 1994 and been a true fan till the end. :flag:

Also it was the final race on SPEED here in the states, they had a very emotional goodbye with a great montage of their best moment over 16 years.

Bring on 2013!

Exactly, who were responsible for the cameras by the way? FOM or GloboTV?

You could see Grosjean go off from the original shot on the exit of the final turn.

Think it was kinda caught in the background by the high camera at the end of the straght.

They did catch Grosjean's crash from a trackside camera but only showed the replay from the OnBoard:

Maybe I'm too much of a dreamer, but with Lewis on Merc and the prospect of a more competitive Lotus for Kimi, I am anticipating 2013 with no fear of disappointment.

Yeah, it will be hard to have a year as good as this one was. But there are a lot to be seen next year, Hamilton with a new boost in his career at Mercedes. Perez with the challenge of driving for a big team. Also, Massa 2nd part of the season was pretty good and a big surprise by the way, it will be interesting to see how 2013 will be for him and Ferrari. Alonso trying to win again. Some interesting moves like Hulkenberg and Gutierrez to Sauber, Hulk ended the season in a fantastic form and Gutierrez is an all or nothing gamble. But something worries me, 2013 will be a transition season for the new turbo engines to come in 2014, so I keep wondering how much the teams will try to be more involved with 2014 than 2013, that can be a problem. But now it's time to celebrate a fantastic 2012 season and F1 as it's best!

Probably not, but they can sense the negative energy flowing towards them. And the guy flipping the bird feels better afterwards.

i've just seen again the Vettel's crash, i cant actually comprehend how is it possible that he got thru that with not even a puncture. He hammered Senna's car with his rear wheel, and the car went on like nothing happened. Unbelievable.
