So true. And that both, RBR and Ferrari had the theoretical chance to sign Hamilton but preferred to carry on with their clear No.2 drivers may have robbed us of a even greater season 2013. We could have settled a lot of our arguments with Hamilton teamed up with Alonso or Vettel on equal material. A shame that both teams did not fancy to provide a fascinating stable war.

J.Morelli, the internet's equivalent of a spoilt brat.

Just few words out of topic for Kobayashi who, even if he messed up few times, managed to get 9 times into the points and finish only 6 points from Perez. I really hope he'll find a seat next year. I remember reading about Kalterborn saying she was hoping more consistency from him...maybe someone should remind her that without Kamui 's 25 points in the last 6 races (0 for Perez), Sauber would have finished behind Williams.

Anyway, let's hope he'll end up in a good team...there's still some good seats around (Lotus, ForceIndia and Williams)

Hamilton's in moan mode against Hulkenberg.

Stupidly biased British fans have a new driver to lynch.

i still cant believe at today race. I mean, that would be an insane race even if it was in the middle of the season but having it as a last race, a title decider, and developing the way it has done, with rain starting in the grid, crashes, spin, pit stops, up and down.......man this is the classic race that if you see depicted in a movie like "Driven" you jump up saying: "oh man, what a shit, that could never happen in real life, this movie is bullshit". unbelievable. Only remark, i would have preferred not to see the SC in the ending laps.

Frustrating to see Alonso lose. Even more so given this is the third time this has occured. 2 Titles, but 3 title loses, 2 especially painful ones. All well he and the team did all they could. Congrats to Sebastien, great feat. Hopefully Alonso can pick up that third title soon to prove some of the more vocal doubters wrong.

Whilst I don't agree with some of the posting about Vettel/Alonso e.t.c I can't help but feel if the positions were reversed a lot of individuals wouldn't be trolling quite as vocally. Emotions are running high right now, some people will post what in reflection they'll see is crap. In the case of Morelli's it's probably best to just ignore him.

Button finishes the season 2 points behind Hamilton. Think that demonstrates just how badly Hamilton has been let down this year by Mclaren. Just a shame he is going to go waste his prime at Mercedes rather than be sat in a Ferrari or Red Bull.

Till March!

Good post

It,s all about emotions being high right now. Also, it,s strange to see that some members here think that Ferrari fans should stop believing in Ferrari. What for? This was not the best car in the grid, but Fernando gived more than possible to deliver some amazing results. Everything starts all over again in March.

He's German too, which always helps.

They'll have plenty of time to get acquainted with each other whilst battling for 10th next year.

Take Perez' flukey podiums out of the equation and he has just 15 points from the year.

Hopefully Lotus take a punt on KK; they aren't sure of keeping Grosjean yet.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Ermm, yeah. Why wouldn't he be? Are you saying he should be happy to have lost the race because of that incident?

WHAT A RACE! One word is enough to describe it perfectly:

EPIC

This is the best race I have ever seen, and I've seen them all since 1997. Not only was it full of excitement from qualifying onwards, but it was full of insane twists that makes 2008 race look like just another race. The best race I've seen, the best season I've ever seen. Infact, this race was like a highlight reel of this whole season.

I only have one negative thing to say:

J.Morelli is pathetic. This doesn't get any better from this and you are complaining? If you were not joking, then go play with Legos or something else, stop posting that kind of crap in here.

I've been following F1 since 1989 and it was probably the best race I've ever seen. The way you describe it is perfect. Just hope next year can be as good as 2012 was, what a fantastic season for F1.

No, but I do believe it was a racing incident and I think the DT was pretty harsh. Hamilton's welcome to be in a bad mood during the heat of the moment, but hopefully over time he'll lay off Hulkenberg a bit.

Among all the disappointment and happiness around, I really feel bad for Lewis today. He so badly wanted to end his McLaren career on a winning note. And he was in such good position to do so. The disappointment on his face after was really tough to see.

Hulks drive through was harsh given the conditions, but Lewis is right to feel annoyed. He was driving a blinder and got taken out. Yeah it was a bit of bad luck, yeah it was mostly the conditions, but he should feel pissed.

Go to www.youtube.com, type in "Maldonado crash", then hit "search". Any of the results will do fine.
