Drivers complaining that the track is very slippery because of the asphalt quality and the fact it had been installed 3 months ago. I wonder if a rainy race would be a good thing to "help" to clean the track a bit faster, as I don't think Texas is a very rainy US state.

Members of F1 paddock admitted to hospital

The Swiss newspaper Blick is today reporting that several members of Formula One’s paddock have being admitted to a hospital in Austin.

Blick claims that there are three members of the media from Portugal, Denmark and England and “some members” of the Red Bull are reportedly in hospital.

And it is believed that the Briton involved is the highly-regarded photographer Keith Sutton while the other two are Journalists, Denmark’s Peter Nygaard and Portugal’s Luis Vasconcelos.

The report claimed that they have been admitted after contracting infectious diseases after being bitten by mosquitoes last month in India. It was reported during the Indian Grand Prix, which was held 20 days ago, that huge swarms of mosquitoes in the area around the track could be carrying the infectious and potentially life-threatening dengue fever.

Blick also mentioned the possibility of Malaria.

This has happened to me continuously since I moved to USA. People around here seem to get English and Australians mixed up quite easily. I still don't understand why.

I saw it mooted on Atlas as a way of getting Alonso onto the clean side.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

It wont be, he will get his usual 1 second plus gap within the first few laps before DRS is activated and then run away whilst people behind him are squabbling.
