Yes, Schumacher is a legend. But he stopped being good at racing in 2006. He's got speed but no race awareness.

No they weren't. They were the speed expected considering they were side by side. Look at the Lotus behind Schumi to see how much later he braked, or should I say... how he failed to anticipate what was happening ahead of him.

On raikko onboard they both had the same speed, until he got caught up by the slowing cars and locked up

I only blame schumi for being scared this easily and stomping the brakes like a spastic learning driver :(
