Yeah, looked like a piece of tape/bear bond type stuff.

He admitted that he threw it. What else has he not done to lose your respect.

NASCAR leaves the green out on an oily track for almost two full laps at the Glen.

They leave the green out while Ty Dillon's truck is all but stationary for a full lap at Bristol.

Yet they throw the yellow for that little piece of nothing laying in the marbles where nary a car has run all night?

They're always more prone to throw yellows for stupid little things when someone's stinking up the show (depending on who's leading). It sucks, but that's how it is.

Regardless of who gets fucked and who benefits, it's annoying to see races essentially decided by stuff like this.

I'll admit it would have been more annoying if it had been the dominant Nationwide regular getting shafted as a Cup driver sneaks the lucky win, though. But you still have to just let the race play out on its own.

Robin Pemberton says drivers throw water bottles under green often, and they just end up on the apron. No harm, no foul usually.

Sounds like ESPN's timing of showing Keselowski tossing the water bottle was poor.

Quote:
ESPN says footage of tossed water bottle was taped earlier, shown b/c thought may have caused caution. But did show actual debris which did

In other words, ESPN says it has and showed footage of actual debris which caused caution, which was NOT water bottle. End of story.

And with that, let the weekly whining about ESPN commence.

If you're chucking things on track from your car you should be penalised regardless of whether it brings out the caution or not.

Kez said on twitter if they keep the bottles in the car that the plastic melts and causes dangerous fumes.

The controversy should have nothing to do with Keselowski and the bottle. It's pretty much common knowledge that they throw the bottles out.

It's all about NASCAR's inconsistency with the yellows.

There was nothing wrong with the caution! There was legitmate debris on the track. Bunch of whining babies on here...The oil at the Glen caused one of the best finishes in the past decade. The deal at Bristol didnt really need a caution either...cmon guys.

Fleh, all the streams are either dying or run by a wanker that now wants money.
