And John Cleland will be driving / demo'oing one of his old Vauxhall Cavaliers. That must be a highlight of the weekend.

With the TV cameras there? Probably Zero...

I don't get the "Minis are incredibly exciting" thing, I've watched enough of them on Motors TV to see that only about 1 in three races are great.
They just spend too long at Knockhill so every driver knows that track inside out and how to defend if they get ahead, etc.

Proper Minis, before BMW got their hands on them, are brilliant wherever they race.
Modern minis, not so much.

Still, BTCC at Knockhill, nothing to hate there, particularly if tempers are still flaring after the last meeting.

And great, John Cleland is there, the Plato/Neal of the 90s.
I wonder how many times Harvey will mention him having a chip on his shoulder and Cleland will mention how he wuz robbed.

Ya, the old Minis are awesome. When Snetterton had it's old layout, the slipstreaming down the front and back straights was great. It wasn't unusual to see 3 wide racing for the lead on the final lap. The new ones aren't bad though. Weren't they at Croft? Thought they were decent there. 32 car grid should be exciting enough.

I'll be away for a week, so I'll have to record it, unless the lady is happy to sit in front of a TV all day. Repeat of Plato in the barriers at Duffus Dip, plz

Codename, I keep expecting something to happen in your avatar, dammit. :p

Oh at last, someone else has said it.

Codename, please change that awful avatar. Your previous avatar was one of my favourites. Now you're close to getting on my shit list.

As for the Minis, in the 1990's I used to love watching the Mini Se7en and Mini Miglia series. They were always so much fun.

Just to add a bit more into the mix. There is a very strong possibility of rain both days, as heavy showers are forecast for Saturday and Sunday looks a bit better but still a chance of the wet stuff.

Which means it will be completely dry for both days.

Awww fine....

I was hoping for some good Yaytree pictures after the last meeting but they were few and far between.

*edit* Couldn't find the original one but here's a classic.

Wow I bow to poster-pressure. Can't have EVERYONE putting me on the block list though, I'd get bored....

The general rule of thumb is, that unless it is Phil1993 making a prediction it is likely to come true.

I guess we don't have to worry about most of the field being tempted by the WTCC if Knockhill is too far for them to go.

Looking like its going to be dry for Sunday now, likely to be wet on Saturday. Forecast is still pretty vague though so wouldn't rule out rain on Sunday.

Getting very dark and starting to rain now. Obviously I don't know what the weather is like at Knockhill, but it is only 5 miles north.
