I think Riggs will do well. Harraka, despite all his chaos, has shown decent pace fairly often. So the pace is there in the equipment.

Nationwide first practice speeds from Montreal: http://www.nationwide.nascar.com/nation ... tice/22/1/

Truck first practice speeds from Michigan: http://www.nascar.com/races/truck/2012/ ... peeds.html

A bit slower than I expected. Are they running tighter spacers this week? Also, the 33 and 99 apparently had incidents and went to backup trucks.

Jacques currently fastest in Practice 2 at Montreal... Tagliani second, Billy Johnson third, and Danica is in 4th. Pat-Carp is sixth!

I expect Danica to have another good run, probably to be spoiled late by someone else impatient to get by, then she'll get ridiculed unfairly. You know, typical TBK stuff. *snicker*

Riggs did not run a lap in practice it seems. He probably is starting and parking.

Whilst she did do well at Road America, I'd be surprised if her equipment wasn't far better than at least half of the field.

I don't remember her getting unfairly ridiculed during or after Road America, quite the opposite really.

Sorry, I was way off. Every other race in her career, then.

EDIT

Huh. The Messiah has spoken.

Nationwide Qualifying is live on NASCAR.com

3rd group on track now, Austin Dillon on pole so far. Kenny Habul wrecked in session 2, but was fast enough to get in.

Tags on pole at Montreal, with Sam Hornish alongside.

JV and Danica on row 2.

Would be cool if someone streamed tomorrow morning's Canadian Tire Series race, doubtful as it may be.

I actually want Danica to win, and JV is my entertainment card. Although the latter is a safe bet.

Third Cup practice just finished and Biffle topped the session with a lap quicker than Martin's pole speed. Cool temps work wonders.
