Yep, avoided Cheshire road construction like the plague this year, avoided Waterbury too... went through Terryville, the south from there to hook up to the 84.

there was no chesire roadworks for a while iirc.

84 from waterbury til like exit 25a is a shitshow with road conditions though.

Scew Waterbury traffic on 84. I had to do 2 weeks of training in New Britain in May and always hit traffic. Especially one day when an 18 wheeler jumped the meadian in front of the mall. From Waterbury to Danbury is usually fine though.

Yeah, Waterbury traffic has always been a pain. I think it's shorter for us to go through Terryville anyway, which is what we've done for the last few years.

As for Cheshire construction, maybe that was Waterbury? Anyway, I just know that on the way back, we saw sign for construction up ahead, but we turned off right before the clusterfudge of bridges anyway, and avoided whatever it was. Fewf.

Yeah the bottle neck to 2 lanes, both east and west, is utter shit. God forbid someone is pulled over. "Oh hey, let's slow down and watch to make it worse!"

Why the fuck can't the state add another fuckin lane?

They did. Then they fucked up on the drainage and had to do it again.

Yeah I know but there's still that mile or two stretch from the mall going east that's two lane hell.

Fuck the CT DOT. They fix shit that's not necessary but turn a blind eye to huge problems.
