We head to Lexington, Ohio for a 200-miler at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. With a non-Ganassi/Penske driver actually leading the points, can we have not only the first driver to win a championship with only 4 races to go (5 had Qingdao not double-book a beer festival at the same time as the IndyCar race) that's not a Penske or Ganassi driver, but also the first American since Sam Honish, Jr. in 2006 to win the IndyCar championship?

Race is on ABC. NBC Sports Network was supposed to take this race, but they figured that some international multi-sport cultural event takes priority over an IndyCar race and decided to move their IndyCar team on ABC.

That also means that Bob Jenkins will call a race on ABC for the final time ever.

+Star Mazda+Lights at Trois Rivieres...

Something which I'd be desperate to see any footage from, tbh.

That'd be Sam Hornish Jr. in 2006. Before that, Vasser in '96. But the last one in a unified series, Unser Jr. in 1994.

I hope it rains.

Hunter-Reay actually has a chance at winning the championship at this race? Wow.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

It's not 100% official yet, but this should be the deal.

Super sub Pantano.

I'll be able to provide action whenever a channel shows the races here. Should be in a few months time lol
