Who told you that?

If anything, the chances are going down...

I would say the rain will arrive after the race, as that are storms from hot weather, which usually arrive later in the afternoon...

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

this is (I think) the official Hungarian meteo website. If anything, they should probably know what it will going to be. Yesterday at least they were spot on with their predictions:

The Mercedes does not work well on medium speed corners apparently, of which there are an abundance of in Hungary.

Sums up this strange season that in their best year since their comeback, Mercedes probably won't finish 4th or better...

Read this on twitter which has been re-tweeted by 5live F1

@JennieGow

#F1 Mr Ecclestone just visited press room and suggested next year's calender has 20 races. No Valencia. Hockenheim instead of Nurburgring.

That means the Nurburgring is fucked once and for all. Still, at least they still have a rollercoaster.

20 makes sense then. Ciao Valencia, hello New Jersey.

Kind of ironic that Bernie has all but confirmed Barcelona/Valencia rotation while saying the German GP stays at Hockenheim. Y'know, start one race sharing deal in a country with an appalling economy while another race sharing deal in a strong economic country eventually falls to pieces.

I was reading that Bernie might be considering buying the Nurburgring, so watch this space

Quote:
Bernie Ecclestone is looking into buying the embattled Nurburgring, Die Rheinpfalz newspaper reported on Thursday.

Citing an interview with F1's chief executive, the report said Ecclestone would not talk about the price he is willing to pay for the German grand prix venue, whose future is in the air after entering an insolvency process last week.

Rheinpfalz did however say the 81-year-old is not willing to organise the race at his own expense, nor forego the sanctioning fee for 2013, as was previously reported in the German media.

Earlier on Thursday, it was reported that another option for the Nurburgring is a management buyout, with its current debts far outweighing the value of the famous track.

Nurburgring Automotive GmbH chief Jorg Lindner said: "We have developed a concept for the formula one race at the Nurburgring that does not require a cash grant from the state."

Sky reporting that a switch was found on the Red Bull after the Canadian Gp which other teams believe is used to adjust ride height.

For all his faults, sometimes Bernie puts his hands in his pockets and helps out the fan favourite venues, he bought Spa, invested in Minardi when they needed it, etc.

FFS Red Bull are dodgy as hell this year, its like 1994 all over again when you have one team pushing the limits of legality too far and the FIA out to get them on any trivial matter as punishment.

Wait, as I typed that the switch was found in Canada? Erm....if it was the FIA wouldn't drag their feet on that until now.
Probably a non-story tbh.

So you're telling me that in one of the most scrutinized sports in the world, for their illegal system they just have a little switch that you can just flip and hey presto car is now in illegal mode.....and its visible for people to see? Let me guess it had a comical sign on it saying illegal ride height "ON" and illegal ride height "Off"......
