It has to be Maria. She's the only one driving today, and according to Marussia's twitter, she was about to go out a few minutes ago.

Also, Sky are there, so maybe they caught footage.

I'm concerned about the rumour she hit a stationary vehicle though, that is never good.

I'll keep updated about this one.

edit: Silverstone was the race where Marussia would bring its first major upgrade. Maybe something failed?

Sky just copied the BBC with that.

The whole thing is quite worrying, given the lack of updates from Marussia and anyone there, except for a journalist who said what happened...

BBC News wrote:
F1 Marussia driver hurt in Duxford testing crash
A driver has been injured when a Formula 1 car crashed during testing in Cambridgeshire.

The female test driver was hurt while driving a car for the Berkshire-based Marussia team at the Imperial War Museum, in Duxford, earlier.

It is believed the car hit a stationary lorry, believed to have been used to transport the car to the track. The driver's condition is not known.

Emergency services have been called to the scene.

BBC Cambridgeshire presenter Chris Mann, who witnessed the crash, said the car had completed a circuit when it "suddenly accelerated" into the back of the lorry.

The crash happened at the start of two days of Formula 1 testing at the site.

you can blame the 'remote' location for that though.
