Going to be there this year, courtesy of TM93 and two tickets he sold me. First 400 I've attended since '07.

I'm hoping that the entire race is shown in side by side fashion with the race muted on the split screen while on the other side is repeats of Mashed Potatoes and Mac N Cheese. Would be the capper to this wonderful season we're having.

Going to have to tape this one, although to be honest, I don't know why. Expecting more of the usual shit show.

I will be there as well Thursday-Sunday, the forecast looks good considering it's July in Florida.

I hope it's better than the 500.

Sky+ for this one. I'm not expecting any difference to the other 2 plate races this season.

Looking forward to a nascar weekend for the first time since Tally.

I used to look forward to the plate races weeks and sometime a few months in advance. They would be the highlight of my race watching year.

Out of curiosity, I looked at the schedule about a week ago, saw Daytona and thought: "Neat..."

Prediction: It will be a great race, up until someone shitty wins it.

Like Biffle, or Johnson, or Earl.

This might be the first 400 I've seen live since 2005... Usually I work all weekend. Maybe this race won't suck.

It's weird to see Dale Earnhardt Jr. not entered in the Nationwide Series race.

Enjoy this year's 400 while you can. If this article tells the truth (doubtful), there won't even be a 400 next year (At least not in Daytona).

It's true, the entire facility is going to receive an upgrade next year after the 500/Bike races, they're adding a hotel, casino etc. etc. and ripping out the main grandstands and replacing them, I thought you guys already knew otherwise I'd have posted it already

It is a multi-year project though, so I don't know if the moving the race to Miami bit is true, but considering what they're going to do to the place, it's doubtful they'll have it race ready in 4 months.

Seriously though, I thought gambling was illegal in Florida? (re the casino bit).

They could just swap the Homestead and Daytona races and have Daytona as the Chase finale
