Flips are good when occuring in gravels traps. That way the gravel rips off parts and shit.
On asphalt flips are usually rather boring.

I concur.

However I do like semi-flips on tarmac where half of the car is already ripped and it keeps sliding on the side (ala Dereck Warwick in Monza 1991). Those look awesome.
