This is epic!!! Sérgio Perez will use a helmet honoring Chespirito in Monaco! In the top of the helmet there will be a mention to the "CH" (initials for Chapulin Colorado) together the famous saying "Siganme los buenos" (Follow me the good ones) while in the back a picture of the character itself! If only he could find some space to add a picture of Don Ramón, this would be outstanding!!!

how the fuck does "CH" stand for Chapulin Colorado as initials.

I know J.Morelli posts some silly things at times, but I really do think people are picking through what he's posted here for the sake of it, if I had seen the dude on Perez's helmet I'd have had no idea what he was, but now I do thanks to J.Morelli and that's the fantastic thing with this forum, you get to hear the different sides and cultures of motorsports

I don't even know what all the fuzz is about with this helmet. Looks like a Monaco special like many drivers have for this event. That's all.

Fernando's got a gold helmet I think. They all do something special now.

Anyway

Today it's time for the traditional football match again. Hopefully I can find a stream for that.

Sorry for bumping in like this but fuck me, will they please stop doing different helmets for all kinds of different areas, tracks, celebrations and what not?

Djeez. If there's one thing that should be a clear indicator of a driver, then it must be his helmet, which is not the case when it's changed every 2 damn races.

There, rant over.

Monaco!

Fantastic pictures! I'm curious, did you notice a big bump, exiting the tunnel? The bump that caused all the crashes last year. Or did they remove it after last year?

From Alguersuari's BBC blog
Quote:
The track surface on the approach to the chicane has been levelled out, after a laser study of the road revealed changes as big as 20cm in the height of the track in the braking area.

Heard Martin Brundle say this about 50 times too.

Drivers lead 1-0 at half time. Stefano Coletti scored the only goal.

Final score 2-2. Ex-footballers Sonny Anderson and Pavel Nedved scored for All Star Team in the first 15 minutes of the second half. Vittorio Ghirelli scored the equaliser around 75 minutes.

You won't get it unless you live in Latin America. The sitcoms of Bolaños are shows in Latin America around 40 years. In Brazil it's around 27 years we have Chapolin and El Chavo (known as Chaves here). The most intriguing think is that the channel that shows both reach some of their best audience ratings with episodes that have already been show hundreds of times. These characters are part of the childhood of many people here. That's why Perez tribute has been hugely celebrated here.

I fail to see what is so special about using these special helmets considering when most drivers use their own special helmet it doesn't become so special anymore.
