I doubt he ever raced the track in its previous config though, so what would he know?

With Kers/DRS and the tyres anything could happen

Kamui is more of a PR guy. If it was Kimi he would say it's a shit combination

Last year's race was far and away one of the best (dry) Spanish GPs we'd seen in recent years, so who knows what might happen Sunday.

No, Kimi would say that they are combination.

Mika Salo would say that it's the same combination for everyone.

Heikki Kovalainen would say that it's a very nice combination if you have a good car.

Mika Häkkinen would say that "when you drive that Mercedes through that combination with the perfect line in qualifying, you know that you can get the pole for you."

Keke Rosberg would say that back in his day they didn't have those chicanes anywere else but in Monza and they ruined the flow completely for the drivers.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I don't know how I feel about seeing the Chelsea logo on the Sauber, its a bit weird really.

Can anyone tell me what the little block across the Mclaren nose is? Is that new or have I not been paying attention before? It runs across the Vodafone logo.

JA and Anderson think that it's to prepare the drivers' vision for a raised chassis.

Judging by the posts, I assume FP1 wasn't the most eventfull free practice in the history of F1...

It's FP1, what do you expect, nothing more than a Real Life Wind tunnel experiment, and swapping money from rookies for a 90 minutes of track time...

Already the little parts of rubber on the track after P1 and nobody drove on soft compounds. Hopefully that can save the race.

Edit: helmet cam Pedro de la Rosa, more of that please! Not just 5 seconds :(
