funny thing is this could be the best Alonso season ever and he may come to end no more than 4th or 5th in the WC.

Rob Smedley looked a total fool after that incredible time by Alonso.

Adam Hay-Nicholls (the Metro's motorsport journo) pointing out on Twitter that this is not the first time that the TV director has been ordered to avoid a certain team.

Any guesses?

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

That being said, it may be the season in which he gains the highest amount of respect in the paddock and truly stamps himself as an all time great based on the fact everyone knows it's not a great car.

Just last season he was epic all year, some stunning drives, bar China and a 50/50 clash with Button in Canada. Yet got pipped by Mark to 3rd in the championship at the final race.

Really wish the SC didn't come out so he could have finally won Spa after racing from 10th and stuffing it up the inside of Massa into Rivage of all places.
