And after an empty easter weekend, what a full crammed racing day we'll be enjoying next week!

F1->BTCC->Indycar/NASCAR whoooo

I'm sure WTCC might be racing too, but no-one aside from Will Buxton gives two shits about that!

Double Clios too, whoooo

I hope the "special" atmosphere follows us to Donington too....

I don't know what it was about Brands, but every race seemed like it was on acid or something, never a dull moment.
I managed to pick up on it and I was watching it with a 12 hour delay for most races....

I hope that Donington provides the same excitement this weekend!

*edit* Looking at that Timetable, there's no Guarantee both Clio races will be shown on Sunday...
Particularly as they'll probably waste our time showing both Porsche races :(

Oh, and Ben Constanduros is the WTCC fanatic, not Buxton.

Oh yeah, that's the one.

I should remember because I was arguing with him on Twitter forgetting he was the WTCC pitlane reporter, no wonder he's so biased :p

Yeah, Ben Constanduros is the WTCC guy. Son of Bob 'Champaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaagne' Constanduros. Buxton is SPEED's pit reporter/GP2-3 world feed commentator.

I know too much about irrelevant things.

It's good that you know that, at least when we go to lynch him for daring to speak heresy about the holy BTCC we'll get the right guy instead of innocent Will like I thought!

Double Clios on a Sunday is awesome if we get to see the other race. It's before the program starts, so it'd have to be one of the tape delayed ones.

The first Porsche Race is right after it though, which is ominous...

And between BTCC race 1 and 2 is the Ginetta Junior race, which surely they'll show live.

Admittedly then there's the lunch break which I'm sure will bring us a tape delayed race, but....which one?

Lunch is an hour and 5 minutes. You could probably get 2 races in there if the Clios don't have a huge red flag, and the Porsches hurry up about it. And even then, the build up to the BTCC event after the lunch has 12 minutes. So 1 hour 17 minutes of down time between races.

I guess we'll just have to be patient and bitch about it on Sunday if we're subjected to two Porsche races :p

The only thing that worries me is that its an open secret Porsche pay more for their broadcasts than the other series do (hence getting Ben and now Toby and Tim back into the comm box for them) so I assume because of that ITV give them priority...

Yeaa, it's a shame that they throw money around to get top support priority :(

Wat? Why?

Have they been moaning AGAIN about the lack of repair time? :?

If I was a Clio sponsor I'd be furious, turning down double the exposure time in favour of racing when the cameras aren't there, it defies all logic really.
