I don't get it. Tyre wear problem was solely Rosberg's problem in Malaysia if you look at the live timing. Furthermore, MS's performance this year is by far, after his return, head to head or above Rosberg's performance, indicating he gradually regained his pace. I really don't get the above 2 posts. Even if you look at it superficially, he suffered an engine failure and was taken out in the next race and outqualified his teammate both time. I don't get how some ppl's logic applies to the situation sometimes.

Because we're not fanboys and are bored by this "Schumi can do no wrong" crap.

Indeed. But thank God we've got you to keep us thoroughly entertained with the perpetual Schumacher propaganda.

Isn't China the track that in his dominant 2004 year Schuey turned up to and promptly threw it off at the first corner?

Not exactly his favourite track even in a good car!

Didn't he even spin the car behind the SC in '05?

Schumacher's 2004 and 2005 outings were pathetic.

In 2004 he spun in his qualifying attempt at the first corner and lost it during the gp at the long unwinding right corner (twice?). He also crashed into Klein taking him out I believe.

In 2005 he was collected by Alberts, not sure who was to blame there, and in the race he spun out in the gravel trap behind the safety car...

(PS: I miss that cigarette branding)

I like this track, last years race was one of the best I have ever seen. Possibly the best, in my 4 short years of watching. I am not expecting that again but I have high hopes. It will be interesting to see how Schumi does if he can avoid race incidents.

why so late interest for the sport? :p

Heh. Actually I have read all the posts in this particular thread. But a couple posts in this thread doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things, considering all the drivel in various other threads that we are constantly 'entertained' with. ;)

Drivel? lol erm ok, care to elaborate?

Hang on I'll try to...

If Kubica was able to make a miraculous recovery by mid-season I don't think Lotus would hesitate twice to drop Grosjean later this year or perhaps for 2013.

Alright then kals lol However I think we'll be revisiting this topic in the fall. I'm no doctor but ofcourse optimistic that he will make a full recovery. And who knows, if Lotus are still stuck on retaining Grosjean 2013, then perhaps Robert will get a call from Maranello. I know, I know its far too early for silly season talk and I'm getting ahead of myself but we've seen stranger things happen in F1.

No wait, this was from you. ;)

Nice way to take some of my comments out of context and only concentrate on certain aspects.

And just to maintain that perpetual motion...

kals wrote:
I get that Schumi is popular but for the past 2 and a bit seasons a lot of fans have felt the need to continually justify and quantify his performances. No other driver has received the same attention. And it's entirely unneccessary as we know Schumacher's quality. It's unquestionable.

Schumifan wrote:
Tbh, your "Schumi can do no right" crap is getting pretty dull too

That's strange, as apart from saying Schumi is past it, I don't recall any other potentially derogatory comments.

Maybe you missed my comment above about me cheering him on should he do well? If you did then that's fine.

Such terrible terrible propaganda...

I'm 27 years old and am on my second mug of coffee in the last 2 hours. Also fact. Also irrelevant.

Stop arguing about Schumacher every damn thread.

And his last was 8 years ago. It's not because he was the greatest that he still is the greatest.

He's probably still the greatest driver currently in F1, but no longer the best. A situation that has befallen Federer and Woods in their respective sports.

[schu-fanboy] well, that's true, just look at Raikkonen and Massa the year after during qualifying [/schu-fanboy]
