Wow that's great for Newsham and ES Racing. Tail end charlie last year and now pole for round 1. Why is there only 22 cars? Who is missing and why?

That run by Sheds was fun to watch too - no running in praccy due to electrical gremlins, he had to learn how the car behaved on the circuit in the 7 or 8 qualifying laps he got right at the end of the session. Balls out stuff - went off track twice and had two times removed but at least got in the top ten.

As much as I despise Plato, got to be reasonably impressed with 6th in that car. With the proper race splitter and so on attached it's a decent looking shape, just need to fix the printing error colourscheme.

Hazell (needs more time in the car) & Thorne (crashed in practice, no spares).

Oh Chris James kept up his end of the ES bargain and blundered around in the way. Andy Jordan looked like he was about to run him off the road in retaliation. With James starting in the pack tomorrow we can guarantee he'll probably cause something.

Wowzers!
I see Plato put in a good lap - only 0.4s off is a very good time.

No John Thorne for the rest of the weekend it seems.

Turns out he "made the long walk from the garage to the TOCA suppliers, chequebook in hand" and has all the parts they need to fix the car as the frame wasn't damaged. They're hoping to get the car out for race 1 tomorrow. He's actually putting quite a lot of info and rebuild pics up on his Facebook page - http://www.facebook.com/john.thorne3

That's a good touring car shape. The livery is appalling though.

That would be awesome to see it finally be on the grid and race.

Also, just saw Chris James's block from yesterday - what an arsehole. I'd rather have one car fewer than him on the grid.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
