By my math, they can only have 6 laps behind the safety car, if it stays damp for the whole race, or it becomes a timed race.

We could well get into a zone where it goes back from a timed race to a lap race should it dry out in 20 laps.

Put that in your stat pipe Ted.K!

I don't understand what's triggered this paranoia in the rain. The last major crash caused by rain was Spa 98. 14 years ago.

So do we have times added up for both parts of the race or are we purely racing for position?

(not that it would make a great difference since they were lined up behind SC at red flag anyways, but just wondering about the current rules)

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Nurburgring 2007.

No big wreck, but it could have been. Remember Liuzzi nearly crashing the safety Car?

Without that SC Liuzzi would never had nearly crashed it. Wait... what?

Are you allowed to follow the safety car in and change to inters as they get the green flag? That would be a good move for someone in the midfield I think. Will stay out of trouble on the first lap then have some clear laps at the back to put some laps in.
