It's off to the west coast and Phoenix International Raceway, and questions continue to linger over the sport:

Will James Buescher's leet wreck avoidance skills lead him to another victory?
How many in-race tweets will Brad Keselowski post?
And what will Montoya blow up this week?

They absolutely ruined Phoenix.....it's like a shitty high banked Nazareth now. :x

Hopefully Biffle blows up on the first lap.

I actually like the new Phoenix, just not how everyone cuts the new dog leg.

Come on, Nazareth's awesome.

This, I agree with.

Well, as long as one of his Roush teammates is leading, it isn't like he's going to win. I'd be absolutely pissed if I were his sponsors.

Hopefully all the races run on schedule! You'd think rain would be a bit less of a factor out in the desert, though I know they've had issues before.

Everyone seemed pretty fond of the new Phoenix last fall. I remember the racing being pretty good.

The whole lack of grass is ridiculous....they really need to do something about that, hell paint it green like an F1 circuit. Not really a fan of how they widened the back and messed with the dog leg either. A nice simple repave would've been good enough.

For some tracks, like Kansas coming up, a reconfiguration is a good thing. Maybe Fontana will take a hint.

Unless they level it and rebuild Riverside it won't matter.

5 of the last 6 Phoenix race winners have broken long losing streaks.

I like the new Phoenix, it provided a nice race in November.

Kenseth just pulled a Trevor Bayne: win the 500, then wreck in first practice at Phoenix.

Scratch that, Kenseth wrecked in second practice.

Apparently the 33, 56, and 39 all wrecked their primaries in the opening session.

Yeah, if you get off line at all, you're pretty much toast.

Add the 98 to that list.

i didn't watch much from the second session but apparently Front Row Joe might be going to a Backup.
