Rivalry - Someone who you see as a great opponent. Such as MSC/Hakk
Bitter rivalry - Someone who you detest as an opponent. Such as Prost/Senna

That explanation seems fair to me. Still don't like the "tense" of the word rivalry. Seems more like a soccer hooligan thing...

We have so many great drivers nowadays in F1 (Massa NOT included) that some exciting stuff is bound to happen over the years. Just wait for closer championships.
They even began already (Alonso vs Hamilton in their teammate years).

Just heard some inside information from a member of HRT about India:
Everything stinks like burnt plastic, 24h a day. But that wasn't that bad, because after 2 days all the toilets were broken. So after that everything smelled like shit. It appeared that constructors, after they finished the toilets, threw all the leftovers of cement in bags in the sewer. And when these got wet...
He stayed in a 4 star luxury hotel that looked fantastic, but when someone in the room above took a shower, the water dripped down through the lamps into his bed. When he took a shower, the water didn't go down the drain but formed a little river under his bed.
Seems like the Indians don't care much about the finishing touch. If the building is there, that's good enough. Grandstands crooked? Meh. Stairs leading to nowhere? Then don't take them.
He was happy when he left India.

It would be great to see another title fight between Alonso and Hamilton, especially now that they are with Ferrari & McLaren. I'm sure those two aren't any more fond of each other than they were in 2007 and that could very easily be sparked back up into a full blown rivalry once again thanks to an intense title fight

I don't think Schumacher would've gotten as many votes had he finished behind Rosberg eg. Rosberg 5th and Schumacher 6th. MSC put in a great middle stint there with very effective tire management to pull out the game. And as usual he had another impressive first lap. No doubts in my mind that he's been the Starter of the Year.

Yes, but you could say that his Mercedes should have the pace to finish 7th or 8th, which he would have done if it wasn't for the Hamas crash.
It would have been a terrible race if he hadn't improved that car from 12th position. You could say that he did nothing special, nothing that wasn't in the reach of the car.

But I'm getting in a discussion that I don't want to be in, I voted Vettel because he did everything right.

pretty sure the Russians will come up with good facilities for the image of their country.

Maybe the India story is the reason why DC got ill after the race.

The problem is Lewis backed out. He was pretty far alongside, then braked EARLY and backed out, giving away the corner, but somehow still expected space. You can't give up the corner and expect to still be given room.

Equally, Massa really shouldn't have turned in on another car.

A penalty was inevitable regardless of fault on either party, there was a DTM steward on the panel.
