What a very smart motorsport History culture they have in India ! And what a fucking Tilkidiot track :yuk:

All the same layout, no elevation, I don't understand. Isn't there any other person than Tilke ? I've drawn many many tracks on paper which would be 10'000 thousand times better than the shit we get from mister germany.

There's plenty of elevation. You can even see it on the straight! And the twistier second half is also more up and down, if F1 2011 is anything to go by.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

But as we've already discussed, Tilke is limited with what he has available to him. I mean, what would you have done differently? The only thing I'd change would be the long straight - it doesn't need to be that long

Same here, wish I had the knowledge enough to make my track creations to rfactor.

But let's see what happens this weekend, judging by the first photos and the layout it seems to be just another bad track by Tilke, but let's see how it will work for the race.

Problem with modern circuits is that they're dictated by the FIA regulations and all the run-off etc. Makes it look bland. I said to Dave in the random discussion thread - Istanbul Park with Spa-run off and trees everywhere would be epic.

This track doesn't look natural, associated with the artificial drag reduce system, the race will be killed.

The added benefit of Tilke from a business standpoint is that he will also build any track that he designs.

The only new F1 track not to have this treatment is Yeongnam. Need I say more?

The reality is, we're highly unlikely to ever have any new legendary circuits, because they aren't seen to be historical. People won't allow time for tracks to become established and create their own character. It can take quite a while - Sepang now seems like a pretty decent circuit and it's twelve years old. So there's no point slating new circuits because of Tilke's restrictions - you aren't going to get another Spa, because the regulations dictate that there's a lot of run-off etc. And to make it more fan friendly, the tracks will be emptier so spectators can see more.

I miss more gravel, more grass, FIA are always trying to make tracks easier for the drivers, the fake grass, the tarmac runoff areas, everything to make a mistake to be less punished, the changes in the last corner in Australia to make it harder to spin off, also I miss the less wide tracks, today tracks are too wide, but unfortunatelly we will never see again the golden days of F1.

Yes, I totally agree with you. I'd prefer gravel, not just aesthetically but the fact it actually slows a car down. Yes, I'd like real grass, trees and slightly narrower tracks (because that makes moves seem more spectacular too).

But that's the FIA at work, not Tilke. We could create the best circuit ever, mixing all the best corners from the world. Then the FIA would say no to half of it and what you had left would be ruined by alternative layouts, fake grass and painted run-offs. That isn't Tilke's fault.

I like this circuit after driving it in rfactor , cold be better with more trees and a couple of corners are to tight but overall its good to drive.
Much better than Korea!

Yeah, one of the better tracks by Tilke for the elevation and a few fast turns. The idea of double DRS zone with seperate detection point sounds interesting as well.

To go with the commentary boxes with no windows, the media centre power has been on and off today. Currently, it is off.
