Toyota probably don't want parts photographed up close?

for sure.....
No I think because they dont know how bad his injuries are.

Rather making sure that parts will not drop off randomly while transporting.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Then they'd put it under the car, not cover it.

This will take a while I guess. When the last time we had a barrier completely replaced during the race?

I could think of Jo Gartner's accident in 1986.

Thread title = epic.

Also, now that he is reportedly fine, can I say that Ant got his karma?

Seems to be standard. Ferrari is also covered.

Repairs to take 30 mins, quicker to repair an Audi's suspension.

If Indycar wasn't suffering a rain delay, this lengthy SC would've just been perfect to fit that race in :(

Presumably the manufacturers don't want a PR disaster by having a wrecked car photographed up close.

In all of the flips that has happened since 2008, everytime the car has become sideways first. Mercedes flips were design failures. Stop comparing them

Davidson's odd double flip is clearly not only because of speed, but because of design too. It looks like Franchitti's flip at Michigan, crossing the finish line (2007?). In Dumbreck, Davidson or Franchitti's case, it would have easily finish in the trees. And we all know the trees would have won.

Wasn't it replaced last year after Rockenfeller's crash?
