I hope this race goes ahead tonight now, cos I don't think my ultra modern and technical satellite dish setup will survive the night....

Yes, dish is balancing on stacked plant pots, on a cushion, all on a garden chair, on the balcony....

A redneck satellite dish. Glad to see it isn't just us Americans who do that sort of stuff!

Are they showing the whole season or just this race?

yeah it's been under a pile of crap for 3 years in the garden growing penicillin on it's face, but it still works, and picks up a great HD signal from ServusTV.

I've had to shut the cat in doors though, otherwise he'd try and use it to sleep on, he's none too pleased

Like last night the rain is gone and it seems they could race, but where is NASCAR? Instead of waiting for the weather to cooperate tehy hope the weather cooperates with them. Rain seem likely to return by scheduled start of race tonight. What is NASCAR doing?

Looking good. Storm cell is in the ocean and no other rain should come.

They can't do much now they've announced it'll start at 7PM. Starting it 5 hours early will mean a lot of pissed off fans.

They can't cancel their important prime time programs for Nascar, duh ;) Although it are mostly reruns of the same 10 documentary's they have on when I come across the channel.

Lucky I've got tomorrow off! Getting back from work, it was good news to come home too. Although my partner won't be too happy with me staying up 'til silly o'clock for the 2nd or 3rd time in about a week haha!
Major sleep session will be in order tomorrow too :)

Radar looks clear for hours now.

Only real threat now will come from local thunderstorms that may build up in the evening.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Kudos to Premier Sports for re-arranging their schedule twice to show the race live. At least my money isn't being completely wasted. :p
