This reminds me of Fontana (2008 maybe?)...I remember staying up until about 4am waiting for a report, and they postponed the race for monday.

Looking at the radar and tomorrow's forecast, I doubt they'll get it in monday either....

I hope they get it in at least tomorrow. I got classes all day Tuesday. :( And with NASCAR shutting down all the JTV streams, that means I'm screwed on that front.

Steve O'Donnell (who I honestly hadn't heard of before I joined Twitter, but he's some kind of important) seems committed to running tonight if at all possible, Oscars (or NBA LOL) be damned.

Now we just need some help with the weather. We'll see what they actually say at 4:00ET.

I'd say we still have 4.5 hours to start the race and have a decent finish time.

I'm with that guy lol. This is the Daytona 500.. they need to get it in today anyway possible, even if it means staying up till 2 AM like the 2005 Firecracker. Bet you'd still have more spectators and TV viewers watching than on a workday.

Definitely agreed. This is a big week at work, not sure if I'd be able to commit to even watching online. lol

If it's tomorrow I'll be at work. DVR to the rescue... Just have to tape everything all day because they're going to have delays tomorrow too.

Oh boy how frustrating. From the 365 days a year, it can't rain on three days: Daytona 500, Indy 500 and SP Indy 300...there's such an anti-climax when that happens.

Track drying going on at the moment... Radar looking good too.. not much of a cell left, and now moving northeast instead of east. May get a go tonight with a little delay before halfway then run it to the finish by 10 or 11.

Tracks looking good. Stiff breeze it appears. If it stays as is, perhaps a green by 5:30, maybe sooner.
