Sometimes I'd rather see an actual race rather than a demolition derby. I'd rather see an underdog win the race on actual merit rather than by simply winning the fucking crash lottery.

I'd rather see a race not come down to a green/white/checkers finish every fucking time. I'd rather not see huge crashes that tear up half the field and the drivers only walk away from because the cars are thankfully as safe as they are now.

It's Daytona, get used to it.

Exactly...when was the last Nationwide winner at the Feb Daytona race?

Randy LaJoie, 2001.

I think the streamer guys on Justin.tv, when they're not streaming live racing actually stream classic NASCAR races too.

You'll get what you want there.

As for looking for that in modern NASCAR? Sadly that's just the way things are now.

I can come out of that race with a positive buzz, it wasn't a single file parade and a Busch brother didn't win.

That'll do for me :)

I completely agree with you when it comes to the Cup series, but this is exactly what I expected for the truck race and I figured it would be the same today if it wasn't boring. I just don't take these races as seriously as you do I guess. It would be awesome to see guys like Buescher and Sorenson and Allgaier and Nemechek and Bliss all fighting for the win at the end, but that was never going to happen unless all the cup guys wrecked in front of them.

This. This is the whole reason why I was really pissed at the finish. Don't mind the guys like Buescher or King winning, but the way these guys race each other has been utterly ridiculous.

Leave it to a Busch to completely ruin what could be a great finish.

Kurt Busch destroys yet more Finch machinery & most of the top ten and nearly maims his brother in the process. Awesome work even by his own utterly retarded standards.

With Tony falling back at the white I thought he never had a chance. But when they came into the picture entering 3, and with the momentum they had it would have def. been his 5th in a row today. Then I thought Hamlin and Bayne wanted to block him but I saw them move back down again and that made me think it was in the pocket for Smoke.

When they changed to the outside camera again it all "went up in smoke"....

Glad to see Kyle is OK, even when these Busch brothers showed today why they are so unpopular and why Nascar should act against them soon before someone gets hurt. But that speed, that angle, that flapping hood, people staying away fron that car, it didn't looked good at all for a moment...

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.
