I know Danica took a sharp left coming off Turn 2, but do you think any other driver would've somehow managed to spin the car around without hitting anything instead of letting go of the wheel at the first chance? Speed seems to be having a field day just talking about her reaction while spinning.

Just watched it on YouTube. Looked like the car was in one of those dead slides where you are just a passenger. I doubt there was anything she could do really in this case. I do know that one one hellacious crash though!

She didn't take her hands off the wheel until it was beyond saving, a second or so before it hit the wall, she didn't exactly take her hands off at the first chance.

Anybody else in the same situation would have had the same result, there is no skill involved in that kind of wreck, just luck.

She never had a chance to save that car, she even tried and didn't let go of the wheel right away. She tried but when she knew she was in trouble she let go of the wheel. When you watch some of the slo-mo replays you can easily see the car getting very light and the rear wheels are even in the air for a moment so how should she have turned that car around if it wasn't even on the ground? The angle was too far to the left, otherwise she would have had a chance...

Shame MW didn't make the 500, even yesterday he retweeted a tweet of mine...

Of note: Robby called Mike Waltrip "a piece of shit" in 2005. Money will change anyone's opinions of people.

Clint Bowyer called Mikey 'the worst driver in NASCAR, period' in 2007.

Money talks.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

So, how many laps until the 93 parks? I'm going for 7.

I'm hoping for Kenny Wallace and Dave Blaney to get into the 500 the most.

I wonder if you can change the car manufacturer on Robby's car if Mikey were to buy it, long as it is numbered 7. All you would need to do is change the Dodge logo's to Toyota and dump a TRD motor in it.

6 laps. I should have put a bet on.

That whole team is going to be a bad joke on Sunday.

They just came out with a press release saying they plan to race the full distance in all the races this year.

Aren't they all ex Red Bull cars? They shouldn't be that far off.

I know Vickers old car was sold to RAB Racing.

I know they'll probably get it together eventually but it's a shame that cars like that are taking up two of the spots in the 500 when some really good teams are going home.

The fact Robby has an engine that won't last the entire race is probably a factor.
