They just had to tamper. Atleast the Twins will be a good indication of whether we need to go back to 25 or not for the 500.

Cars back on track right now. About 11 cars in this first pack.

Well that seemed quite unnecessary.

Clit sends Kez around in what is probably the 35th incident this speedweek caused by bump drafting.

Is it just me, or does it seem like DW is begging to have the tandems back?

Bowyer just spun Keselowski on the backstretch. Seemed pretty ridiculous for him to be shoving him that aggressively for so long.

The issue with the pressure release valve had more to do with the weather than anything. They were talking about it a bit this morning on the Sirius station and it ended up being a decision to protect the engines as the temperatures this weekend are expected to be about 20 degrees warmer than they were during the Shootout (during which the engines were already in a pretty tight spot).

He's been that way since everyone started bitching about it last year. I still don't see why he has such a hard on for it.

Anyone else notice how far out Menard and Harvick got on the pack earlier in practice. Granted it wasn't a big pack behind them but man they were hauling ass.

I'm still waiting for Danica to side swipe someone in practice or the duels. She's moving around a lot....

DW keeps harping about how you have wrecks with the tandem drafts, but they don't take out 8 or 10 cars at a time. Okay, but they happen all the time and you have drivers with limited visibility shoving each other into the wreck. That is not safe either. At least the big pack wrecks mean everyone is kind of next to each other already which reduces the chances of big speed differentials between two cars when they hit each other.

Stenhouse is about to wreck Bayne. He's pushing way to hard in practice.

Seems like Tony and Bayne found out how long it takes before you run out of fuel

The surprise of the session has to be Michael Mcdowell at 7th quick.

I"m hoping Mike Wallace or JJ Yeley can get the upset push into the 500, as long as Dave Blaney can make it in as well.

Kasey Kahne just got sent through the infield grass off Montoya's front bumper. Tore the front end off and took out The Orange Cone.

Kasey Kahne gets spun by Montoya (surprise there) and destroys the front of his primary car in the frontstretch grass. Backup car.

To be fair, from the replays it looked like Montoya kept his line, Kahne was moving around.

I know, but he just gets in a lot of trouble whether it's his fault or not. Seems to always "find" the crash, if you know what I mean.

Petitioning that Hamlin is from here on referred to only as 'Vinnie'.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

I am very pleased they stopped talking about cones. Vinny Hamlin ftw.
