Does not look that way. SVT broadcast every STCC race live, including supports, but they take down the videos after 30 days.

i'm watching the 2009 dtc and stcc season together. pretty cool to see Thompson in dtc. touringcartimes is a really nice resource for this, as they have tons of english articles for these series going back to the mid 00s

They couldn't agree on a date. STCC wanted a date where Mantorp Park already had an other event. :slaphead:

finished watching both, some thoughts before I move to '10

stcc: Overall good season. Nice to see volvo take the championship. I was also rooting for VW but they ran way behind and didn't perform well. Sad to see Saab couldn't make it out to the track. The last two rounds were pretty crazy, championship leaders taking each other a few times. Volvo dominated the last round and Rustad was able to take it home. I would give the tough luck award to Anderson, as it seems like he was punted off every other race.

dtc: A little bit less exciting than stcc. There were still some good races like the second heat at padborg where a merc nearly won until suffering a mechanic issue(that was a 10/10 race). Thompson was leading the points comfortably but had to miss the last two rounds due to other commitments. This opened the lead for a few others. Similar to stcc, the last two races were lol-worthy. Either of the Chevy guys just had to ride around and score points and they would have easily gotten the title. Instead the championship leaders crashed a few times in both rounds. Magnussen had an awesome charge in the finale (which was wet conditions btw and owned) but it wasn't enough to beat Nykjaer.

Are these reviews or the entire season's races? Also, where did you get these and what language are you watching in?

Good season. Although best post-Super Touring season has to be 2011. The last proper STCC season.

Well, that isn't good. Think we may move away from the TTA cars onto something different when Volvo leave. Also means the whole split was really for nothing then.

Sure, Sturup is a better track, but the Göteborg race had the favourable position to be in the middle of Sweden's 2nd biggest city.

No Mantorp and no Göteborg in 2015 (no Göteborg ever again even). STCC's two biggest crowd pleasers off the schedule.
