According to Joe Saward, Williams dropped the AT&T from their name on the website and their facebookpage suggesting AT&T is no long main sponsor.

They have. One suggestion is the sponsorship ended, another is that it paves the way for Embratel, but another is that as a US company, they were unhappy with Venezuelan involvement in the form of PDVSA.

Saward claims that QNB (Qatar National Bank) will be the title sponsor.

Can't wait for the new cars to be launched, by the way, does someone has a calendar of the launches already announced? I wonder how some cars will look, the new Caterham propably leaving the green behind, the new Williams propably with a Qatar Bank sponsor, will we see a very different livery? Plus the new stuff that appears every year. Hope that Rubens or Bruno can get a seat for 2012, only one brazilian would be sad for our motorsports, but unfortunatelly its a result of our terrible motorsports politics that had to be changed immediatelly. Let's see what 2012 will bring us, just hope to see a more competitive year with different drivers getting to the podium, different teams showing streght during the season.

I think Fernandes has said that Caterham will keep the same livery.

Which is a shame as I'd have liked to see yellow back in F1.

Williams might change their livery; if they go for the colours of the QNB it'll be a burgundy and white livery.

McLaren - 1st Feb
Ferrari - 3rd Feb
Red Bull - 5th Feb
Sauber - 6th Feb
Lotus - 6th Feb

That's what has been rumoured/confirmed so far.

Williams will be really interesting to see, we haven't see any official news in a while, so it seems something is coming up. About the liveries, I like yellow too, one of my favourite liveries ever was 1999 Jordan, that was an awesome livery and car. About the teams, we may see some surprises, Marussia now without Virgin support may change a bit too, HRT changed completelly from 2010 to 2011 and if they can find a sponsor I'm sure they will not avoid a total change again, plus I wanna see that "revolutionary" new car from Ferrari that they are talking about since the last months of 2011. I want to see how Kimi can help Lotus too, he was never good developing a car, his teammates in most cases were better at it while Kimi was good with the right foot, his partnership with Grosjean will be very interesting, Lotus will propably have a better season than in 2011 when they started with a promising car, but no one could develop it during the season (how I miss Kubica, and I bet Lotus miss him so much more). The beginning of the year is allways nice, waiting for news to come, hoping for a competitive year, a fresh new season is about to begin.

Thanks a lot for that list man, I wonder if McLaren will have something "new" like the different side of the car they revealed last year, totally different from any other team in the grid. I wonder too how Hamilton will deal with the pressure over his shoulders after a year where he made most mistakes than in his debut year, and Button performed so well. The good thing is, they deal with each other very well and that make McLaren a very strong team, allways, even if they don't start the season with a fantastic car, they both can work it out and improve during the season.

If anything, Lewis will be under greater pressure in 2012.

An interesting point was raised in F1Racing recently ask they asked an expert as to why Lewis was suddenly so erratic and troubled in 2011. They said that in 2009 when he had a terrible car, it wasn't so bad as he'd just won the title. Yet two seasons later - and with a younger driver dominating - it got to him.

I hope he can fight for the title, but he's up against it unless McLaren deliver a car as good as Red Bull. Another interesting point is that post-2010 F1 doesn't suit him. He prefers the all out attack mode. Conversely, post-2010 F1 suits Button more as there's a greater strategic game, rather than in the 2006/7/8 era say when it was like 60 odd qualifying laps.

Hopefully we'll finally see some radical new liveries this year.
McLaren should definitely drop the chrome. Current Williams is boring. Force India is getting old. Ferrari should return to black wings (mandatory if you ask me). Sauber needs colors.

Williams lost AT & T, PDVSA is under investigation, its so sad to see a giant like Williams suffering like this, just hope the team won't end like Tyrrell, Brabham and Lotus. Seeing all the problems they are facing, if Rubens can really have Nestlé sponsoring him with a good value, that can be his chance to stay. But anyway I really hope Williams can sign a good agreement with that Qatar Bank or any other good sponsor, as they are getting Renault engines in 2012, if they can make a good car, that can be the chance for a reborn in F1.
