Hugo Chavez reelected in Venezuela. Maldonado's chances to stay in F1 next year improve.

I never thought I would say this but Hamilton is looking more and more like a twit every day (no pun intended). What's next, befreinding him on faceebook?

Well he spent enough time following JB yesterday that I guess he wanted the favour repaid.

Technically Jenson was ahead of Lewis today so has no need to follow him

Seriously, I'm as much of a Twitter Cheerleader as anyone but its people who take it that seriously who give all the fuel to the "Twitter is SHIT OMG who cares if you had toast for breakfast" kind of haters of it.
And then the media making a big drama over "Twitter spats" because its easier for them to read tweets rather than pick up the phone and investigate stories makes the whole thing ten times worse.

It's just a social media site, Lewis, Jenson will still talk to you in real life, maybe he's just tired of the whiny self-involved bullshit you put up there.

Though apparently as I type that we're finding out Jenson never followed Lewis anyway....

And I doubt Jenson runs his own Twitter account anyway...

I think he runs his own Twitter account. After all, he also is active on Facebook (of course under a different name), but he's a friend of a friend of mine.

When I watched the BBC buildup for (I think it was Qualifying) in Singapore, I found the way that Jenson reacted when Lewis nudged his head during the interview very peculiar. It was obvious that they didn't get along anymore.

Well according to Josh Hill the whole "we're mates" thing has been a ruse the entire time, I mean I think they got on as team mates and such but nothing more

I'm going to be unpopular here, but Abu Dhabi is probably my second favourite Tilke circuit after Sepang. I always found Istanbul unappealing.

I have always enjoyed the Abu Dhabi race for some reason. Most probably because of the sun setting. Has a nice autumn feel to it.

In my opinion it's Raikkonen who described Abu Dhabi perfectly:

"Well the first corners are quite good but the rest of it is shit."

I don't entirely agree. The final two corners are interesting.

Sorry but even for the first turns, I don't value much a high-speed corner if the only consequence for getting it wrong is crossing some red/blue paint pavement and getting back on track, after losing a couple tenths and perhaps some rubber.

The worst part of Yas Marina is they had all the money in the world and yet they came out with such an appallingly awful circuit. It's a bad enough layout, but a lot of the surroundings look horrible, especially around the hairpin area where it's just an array of multicoloured run-off.

If the best parts of a circuit is the underground pit exit and a funky hotel, there's something wrong.

They don't care about the circuit, I hope you know that...
They don't care about racing, they just care about having the race for 5000 spectators.

0 spectators would be fine for them as well. Just a couple of gazillionaires and everything's fine.
