It's a photoshop. Hamilton won't be seen in any Mercedes merchandise or anything until January 1st, 2013.

No, it is just fanmade.
I think that he can't do photos for Mercedes yet because of the contract with McLaren.

But it looks a bit unusual, I really thought that Hamilton was going to stay with McLaren forever!

Except this time it's his own fault. He told Mercedes he didn't want to talk about it until October and they decided they had to sort it out more quickly than that.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

What if Hamilton would win the championship this year? He needs 3 titles with McLaren to get a McLaren F1 LM, his dream car. :D

Exactly, they couldn't wait. Not when there was a chance to snag Hamilton. He snoozed and lost.

I can't see how a Mercedes Team with a character like Ross Brawn can be comparable to these teams.

He was fifth in 2011 and has 3 wins so far, but I think I'm missing your point. :)

Regarding the end of stepped noses in 2013 (http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/ ... 13848.html), did anyone else notice the wording says:Article 3.7.9 of the 2013 technical regulations refers to the new panels as “an optional, single piece, non-structural fairing of prescribed laminate (whose precise lay-up may be found in the Appendix to the regulations) which may not be more than 625mm above the reference plane at any point.”

So we might still have stepped noses?

Interested in seeing where Hamilton will take the Mercedes next year in terms of pure speed. He may get something out of it (like Alonso with the Ferrari) as they've been consistently in the top ten qualifiers this year with a good but not exceptional pair of drivers.

Could have added Schumacher to Ferrari. A half-disaster that turned out to be the start of a legend.

Schumacher took the entire dreamteam from Benetton with him. Unless the technical and strategical heart of McLaren joins Mercedes, it's not really comparable IMHO.

Mercedes say Rosberg will have equal treatment.

http://www.autosport.com/news/report.php/id/102913

While Mercedes does have Brawn, they really have been making some very strange strategy calls this year that have cost them points.

Didn't expect these 2 moves today. But what about Schumacher, why hasn't he announce his retirment? Could it be that Ferrari will get rid of Felipe and get Schumacher in? I wish
