Here's a comparison I made from the photos I took on Sunday in Montreal, thought some members here might enjoy it:

the green flag man is one of those nostalgic things that have disappeared gradually and is now back. I'm always happy to see him wave at the back, like the good old times.

Domenicali believes Alonso & Vettel could 'coexist' at Ferrari.

I know he's matured, but I'm not convinced that he could deal with a team-mate that would consistently challenge for victories. He needs #1 status.

You only have to look to the way he threw his toys out of the pram in 2005/6 on the rare occasion that Fisichella beat him and the whole saga in 2007 that will - or even has - go down in history.

I'd love to see it, because I believe that in the same car, the two would be bloody close.

Won,t happen. Vettel and Ferrari just doesn,t sound right. I would take Hamilton, this time it could work.

Marca says Perez is aiming a top team por 2013 and now he'd be trying a deal with McLaren or Red Bull as Ferrari would've refused to sign him at this time.

No way.

McLaren already has a man who can save his tyres well, apparently.

Perez is tied into Ferrari, I think he'd be pretty foolish to engineer a move away from Ferrari/Sauber.

Bernie may have to stay out of Germany from now on.

Ignore the fact it is written by Sylt, the fact that the banker said he took the bribe is widely reported.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Well, there's been cases of drivers/teams rejecting teams/drivers in the past

Remember, Fernando turned down Ferrari in 2002 & Sebastian rejected an approach from McLaren in 2008.

Quote:
Formula 1 could race in and around the Olympic Stadium if a bid put forward for the race is approved.

With the London Legacy Development Corporation (LLDC) evaluating proposals for the use of the stadium once this year's Olympic Games are finished, a report in The Telegraph reveals that one proposal is for a grand prix to be held there.

It suggests that a company called Intelligent Transport Solutions Ltd wants to have use of the stadium for an F1 race - and it has already spoken to the sport's commercial boss Bernie Ecclestone about the plan.

Speaking to the Telegraph, Ecclestone said: "This is a firm that happened to be bidding for use of the stadium, not to own it. They came up with a scheme whereby Formula 1 would race around the stadium, inside it, outside it. They wanted to make sure I would be interested."

The F1 bid is one of four that has been put forward to the LLDC for further consideration. The others are from football clubs West Ham and Leyton Orient, as well as the University of East London.

Please no. F1 is not the race of champions and I don't think we need a special stage either.
