BUT HIS HAND IS HIDDEN. CONSPIRACY!!!111

If you visit Atlas, you'll get this.

I think they just fool around with everyone, posting only pictures where you can't see his left hand. I hope Kubica could be fit to race soon.

Denny Hulme won a Can-Am race with thick bandages on his hands after his crash at the Indy 500 where they got badly burnt, the team had to place his hands on the steering wheel and close the fingers around the wheel. After the race they had to do the same to take it off, and all his skin was back down to raw flesh after the race.

Totally worth it, i guess. 8O

Didn't he also used to drive barefoot?

With his other hand.

I know plenty of people that have driven/raced with burns, broken bones etc. etc. those circumstances are a little different to Bobby K's though, his injuries were far more serious.

But he only says that Alonso is backed by Santander, doesn't he? That doesn't necessary make someone a pay-driver. :o

Yeah, Hulme didn't burn his other hand that badly.

Tazio Nuvolari took a part in a motorcycle race at Monza with both legs plastered in early 30's. His mechanics had lift him on the bike and to keep him steady on the starting grid. When he came back to the pits after winning the race, the mechanics had to catch him and lift him off the bike.

This, tbh.

Santander paid for Kimi's contract to be broken and they are also paying Alonso's salary. His sponsor paid for him to enter the team. I do agree with Bernie when he says that there needs to be less hysteria around 'pay drivers'. There are very few people on the grid who are not where they are at least partly because of commercial interests.

Petrov automatically goes up 15 points as well for calling di Montezemelo out on his whining.

Oh, Vitaly. Proving that some things in Russia will never change.

Judging by the biological and evolutionary facts he is right. But I'd love to see a competitive woman in F1.

There's no women fighter pilots for a reason, a biological reason, woman's body can not take as much G's as man's without significant damage. Or that's what I've heard...

I think if girls can take IndyCar oval racing, I don't think why they couldn't take F1, with the proper training.

Yea, I think like NVirkkula said, one hand was more burnt than the other
