Well that second picture shows what could be either crash (with a bit of "Hollywood" interpretation, and its pretty grafic!).. perhaps they are going back to well before the 76 season then!

I think that the movie will show Lauda's fears after the crash. When he drives at Watkins Glen, he'll remember how dangerous it is, how many drivers died etc. So maybe there'll be just some flashes.

I See what your saying, but theres some detail in there.. perhaps the Austrian connection?
