I'd not be against at least a semi competitive Mercedes team. I'd hate to see Rosberg, who I see as genuinely talented end up winless and I believe that if the opportunity came in a race, I'd be cheering Schumacher on towards wins/podiums. I certainly was last year in Canada.

I don't think anyone would mind a semi competitive Mercedes team, as long as it was Rosberg dominating Schumi. I wouldn't be too unhappy with the odd win or podium for the old cobbler though.

There's no way that race should be going ahead.

It'll cost Bernie too much money to cancel the race, the organisers need to be convinced themselves that the race should be cancelled like they were last time then it won't cost Bernie anything as the sanctioning fee will still get paid.

I don't think many people outside of that bubble think the race should actually go ahead.

Well, let's hope so! Things I had heard weren't out of the ordinary or particularly optimistic/pessimistic, but a hell of a lot of work has gone into this car. Rosberg, Schumacher, don't care which of them beats the other as long as they're up the front giving Christian Horner sleepless nights.

Well Bernie always wanted to add spectacle to an F1 race, by throwing water onto the track and creating shortcuts. So he'll kind of get his wish when F1 returns to Bahrain in 2012, except the drivers will be dodging petrol bombs and protesters throughout the race. It should make it interesting to watch.

F1 in Bahrain, bringing a whole new meaning to the saying "Dodge the bullet".
