It's not even that. It's the same front wing they launched last years car with.

Either way: the actual front wing has nothing to do with the nosecone regulations.

Only just noticed the F2012 has a sort of shark fin attempt, probably the most they can get away with

From this angle, the nose looks like a terrible photoshop-job.....

Still, somehow this approach probably has benefits over McLaren's design otherwise I cannot understand why they opt for this solution.

As has been stated, the Mclaren design is prob no different, they just have shoved an older nose on it.

The Ferrari nose looks like a bit of a dented shed.

The Force India is gorgeous, apart from the nose.

The problem then is that it looks like some sort of optical illusion with the nose going behind the wheel at one height and coming out from behind at a different one.

Atlas is in sparkling form this morning, comparing the Ferrari's nose to Michael Jackson's and Geoff's (the Top Gear eco-car) among others.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

For those expecting Mclaren to end up with a stepped nose to meet the new regs, The nose it was launched with apparently does fully meet the new regulations:

Also Gary Anderson has this great technical piece on the McLaren for the BBC:

Karthikeyan won't last the season. Stop-gap measure if ever I saw one.

Those noses just keep getting worse.
