I'm sorry Phil but that avatar of Vettel is starting to creep me out.

When I first read a few month ago the 2012 cars will look ugly (and those words came from Ross Brawn) I thought "nah, it won't be too bad"...but gosh!! They DO look ugly as hell.
Even the Ferrari drawing made me hopeful that we will see more RB5 style noses but what the f*ck is this?? My believe in proper aerodynamic design just got a huge blow.

Meanwhile, Ferrari gets tired of the criticism and launches a car that isn't ugly to please their fans...

Sadly all F1 cars will have horrible nose sections due to the new regs. Other than that, the Caterham looks decent.

I wouldn't go that far.

Actually I would, way beyond that new Indycar... In fact, talking about crapwagon, that nose section bears a striking similarity to that almighty ugly Dallara 2003 IRL car at my first sight.

Rumours are the Ferrari has an extra bump on the nose...

From some reason this angle reminds me of that diabolically shit Forti of 1996 when they went with the high nose. THAT was one of the biggest pieces of crap ever.

That's what they should have done with the nose

Of course it is. Why go for aerodynamic improvements and trying to get into the midfield when they could make their car look like an anteater?

That Caterham nose reminds me of certain rFactor mods which had rather flawed damage models, rear ending someone could make your nose look very similar to that

I've seen a head-on shot somewhere and it doesn't look bad from that, and perhaps only that, angle ...

Edit: Other pictures ...
