2011 wasn't as boring as the Schumacher/Ferrari shows the early 00's where.
Back then it was:

MS______________RB/FM___________________________________Rest of the field.

This year was mostly:

SV____rest of the field.

And Bruno Senna is confirmed at Williams. Their website is down at the moment, but I saw the news there.

Well, you can check it here

And finally Barrichello retires...ufff, after 19 years this day has finally arrived...wow, what a relief! Unless he tries the second HRT seat to complete 20 seasons - what is quite unlikely to happen!

Man, what a soap opera, he was insisting so much on that Williams seat...that basically Williams was forced to retire him! And thanks god, it was time this story hits an end, even the jokes were getting old!

Hope we can finally see Barrica on Stock Car Brazil this year, I bet he'll be much more productive there and ratings increase considerably!

I hope he doesn't go for a back marker seat. It would be a sad ending to a amazing career he has had. If he can't get a decent seat he should just call it a day.

Not entirely true. The movies like Grand Prix, Le Mans and Bobby Deerfield were made to illustrate the present. Also Driven did this. And Days of Thunder. And Talladega Nights. The Senna movie is a documentary, not a real movie.

Freejack is another story, a weird one.

I think Adrian's goose was cooked when the trial date was set.

Still, now he can go back to representing the constituents of Doncaster North.

(I cannot be the only person to see that resemblence)

----------------------------------

A shame that this is how it ends for Rubens, but he can do something else. IndyCar might be tempting, even if he stays completely off the ovals.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Wanna see Trulli's home?

It's in German actually, but it tells nice things.
He collects all his helmets and has a story for each one. One that he shows is from 2001 and was sold by an auction due to the victims of 9/11. (Edit: He got a replica ;))
He used to play drums and had a band in his toyota times while his engineer sung.
He often plays NASCAR-races on computer and got a F1-Game (F1 2011 prob.) but never plays it because he drives a F1-Car in Real Life.
He lives like a normal person and doesn't care for expensive cars and big boats, he is just looking for the sense of the life.

Seems like a genuinely nice, very down-to-earth guy. I love how he collects memorabilia of his career, just look at all those helmets and diecasts he has! Even a real Toyota F1 car (or 1/1 replica).

I once read that Ralf Schumacher collects all racing cars he has ever driven, are there any other drivers known to be doing this? According to Helmut Marko, Vettel got both his championship winning cars as presents from Red Bull, that's all I know of.

I always saw a lot of resemblence with his fellow countryman Zdenek Stybar:

I don't understand this one. He sold it for charity but still has it?

Also, I know German, but the Swiss German is impossible to understand

I think the narrator and Trulli said that it was a replica of the original helmet. Trulli used it in the US GP 2001 and it was auctioned after the race.

Usually F1 drivers have few helmets for every race weekend.

Juha Kankkunen from the world of rallying does the same: http://www.insideline.com/features/collection-of-a-lifetime.html

Yeah, I forgot to mention it. It's a replica.
Jarno got a lot of hobbies, it's interesting. He's even got a hotel there and as we all know, loves his wine.
If his F1 carrier is going to end, there are a lot of things that he can do. I love persons like him :)

F1 teams choose afternoons I'm out to make driver announcements; it's like they're deliberately spiteful
