If have read in German motoring press that Red Bull and Mclaren have to fundamentally redisign their cars because they have speculated for a different exhaust/engine-mapping rule and therefore initially designed with too big fuel tanks.

Pre-season rumors - always speculation.

Ok, so it's 22 years out of date for this thread, but this video is pretty interesting!

Bollocks. There was a third option. C4 had a fully fleshed out package to be presented to the BBC and it was ignored.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

It's now official, Bruno Senna signed with Williams this morning. Eike Batista - Brazil's richest person is paying. Whether this is wrong or right, it doesn't matter, Williams needs the money, Eike pays and we needed another brazilian on the grid this year.

Some days ago Eike posted on twitter that Senna had the seat and looks like today the negotiation was official with Williams team. The press will be notified in some hours and some sources already confirm it.

Over the last couple of weeks I've been watching the 07, 08, 09, 10, 11 F1 season review DVD's in order. And I have to say it's made me more excited than ever for the new season to start. I can't wait!

So Senna has driven for an Enstone based team, a black and gold Lotus and now a Williams Renault.

If you're looking for other ridiculous similarities, his team mate at black and gold Lotus scored 3rd place in the first race of the season and he took the seat at Williams alongside a driver who has raced one full season.

I don't know what to expect from the movie - story based on 1976 battle between Lauda and Hunt, great, but they do shooting on modern Nordschleiffe. I hope they use some special effects to "remove" modern details like guard rails, curbs and some markings on the road.

They're on the edge of wether it's going to be a good movie with authentic details (see the helmets for example) or something similar to Driven (silly stunts or goofed up tracks). If they end up shooting at Fuji, there's no hope left. I hope it's a good movie, the info sure sounds like it could be something that every racing movie enthusiast needs to see.

Why is it that all the great racing movies are based on the 70's?

Because usually you have to wait a while before it becomes properly old school or unless the person dies (See Senna)

Only 3 weeks until testing now. I know some people find it boring, but I love it. The first pictures, the kooky devices and the glorious pictures of low winter sun...

Getting all pumped up for the season, hoping F1 would be exciting.

Then Vettel leads from start to finish -.-
