The third to last race of the Chase moves to Forth Worth, Texas, for a 500 mile race around the challenging mile and half oval. With Carl Edwards and Tony Stewart only 9 points apart and Harvick another 21 back the championship looks like a two driver contest.

This track doesn't typically see a lot of caution periods so track position will be key and a good handling car in the fast high banked turns over a long run will likely be up front.

The NNS returns from a 3 week break and it will be buisness as usual, with a Buschwhacker win, the usual phantom debris cautions, long green flag runs and the usual start-and-parks.

The Truck Series has 4 drivers within 15 points of each other with 3 to go.

So, back to our regular scheduled programming then?

I'll maybe watch the trucks, as for the rest, hmmm, there's some paint drying on the wall outside, I expect that to be more exciting.

Hoping there's enough feuds boiling over from last week to make this race semi-interesting.

Mind you Texas isn't exactly the place you want to settle scores, but when you're mad you don't exactly think logically

I gotta check on that, but I do think he was put on probation for the rest of the year. Probably fined and docked too.

Last year's Texas fall race was Hollywood shit. You'd be advised to watch it this year too with all the feuds being carried over from Marty factoring in the close points battle.


Glad to see I'm not the only one who makes that typo.

I think this is one of the most challenging of the 1.5 mile tracks, high banked and pretty rough in areas. If you're cars not working here its struggle street for most of the race.

During Nationwide tech inspection today the main overhead template fell on Joy Logano's car after a pin holding the cable failed. One official was treated for a very minor hand issue and the car is being repaired.

The jackass said he didn't saw the 42, I never been so mad at someone like this time.
