i know some info was posted before but here's a bit more on the movie "Turbo". Looks like a good lineup for the voices with some big names. Samuel L. Jackson, Snoop Dogg, Ryan Reynolds, Kurtwood Smith and more.

Oh boy...
Why not like, a legit racing movie? Like Driven...without the horribleness.

If it's as big as "Cars" and attracts a new audience to Indycars then I'm all for it!

Will there be the need for Bump Day if there's only 33 cars entered?

It isn't like the glory days anymore, when Penske didn't make the 95 race.

Why would there be? Who could try to qualify for the grid and bump someone out?

Sweet Jesus, those high turbo boost V8s. Still the greatest engine sound of any racecar I have ever heard. :flag:

John Barnes has been fined $25,000 & placed on probation for the rest of 2012 for using improper or disparaging language in reference to IndyCar on Twitter:

Maybe some teams may enter new cars in qualifying

Can a backup car qualify for the 500 if the primary car is already in?

As in #3 qualified in Pole Day, can the #3T attempt to qualify on bump day?

At least he wasn't apologetic about what he said, he could have just find another way to get his point across.

I don't think there's anything in the rules against it. Hell, if I was IndyCar, I'd encourage it.

exactly...the online bitchfests get old and are really unprofessional.

It couldn't have helped Tracy's chances of landing a ride.

I was thinking about that, the possibility of a Lotus team making a deal with a big team to use a backup car, in the case of them being way off the pace come pole qualifying.

I don't see the problem. In the past the bitchfest was in the national newspapers, now it's online. What's the difference? Answer is there isn't. Well unless you count the series organisors being highly strung and overly sensitive to constructive criticism.
