Gona be very interesting to see how he goes given he's won the Freedom 100 3 times and was showing bloody quick speeds in the races he was in last year, just a shame he can't get a full time ride

Yes.

If they've abandoned it, it's probably because Lotus don't have any engines for him.

Lotus engines were 7mph slower on Shoreline Drive last Sunday than any other car. So imagine what it's going to be like at Indy and Fontana for them.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

But with other boost levels there, it may not be as bad as it looks like right now.

Speculating, of course.

So we're getting a bump day with only one or two drivers dropping out? And they're very likely not going to be surprise to anyone.

Oh well, I hope the race itself is going to be as good as it's been for couple of years now.

I heard a while ago that IndyCar may do some changes in boost come mid-season, for competition purposes. Maybe they will do something in May if Lotus are embarrassingly slow.

apparently this is supposed to help out with the engine difference i guess? i was a bit confused by how he explained it. im not trying to make fun of the guy but come the hell on! of all the people working on the project they pick a guy that clearly isnt the best in front of a camera to explain it lol

Being able to get that data from all the cars during the race will definitely be more helpful in equalizing the engines than picking a few cars for a post-race dyno session.
