Valvoline? Is this the first time since a Valvoline sticker has been on an indy car since 1999?

John Oreovicz on facebook this morning: If Rubens Barrichello promised his wife he wouldn't race Indy cars, why is he reportedly doing a seat fitting today at KV Racing?

Maybe his arse is the same shape as TKs.

No, being serious, it could work even if they leave out Indy, Texas and Iowa (and Milwaukee*). Rubens does all the flat circuit races. Jimmie Johnson does Indy. And some rent-a-driver can risk their neck at the other ovals.

Yeah, I know he's mad and I don't care. I do not care. I did not care then. I do not care now. I'm here to race him.

Didn't think so, he was a bit drunk.

Still, they can get someone in.

Maybe it can be Alesi's car.

KV is racing for Chevrolet after Lotus didn't sign Cosworth up for the engine building contract so highly unlikely.

Forgot about that.

Even if it is just for the flat circuits, Rubens is still probably good enough to be a title contender, especially with this new car.

What a man of his words...

But love to see him in Indycar. He looks like a fine addition to the field, and teamed up with his buddy Tony Kanaan it could be very fun to watch.

Now I understood why Guerrieri was desparate on Twitter this week asking for sponsorships in Argentina, something was really weird in this story. The reason? Barrichello's directing his career on IndyCar Racing and in KV.

I never thought he would attempt Indy, I thought he'd go straight to Stock Car Brazil.....Rubens is a figure indeed! I never imagined Rubens driving in ovals....this is going to be extremely curious. Well, If he manages to put in action all the knowlegde he acquired in 19 years of Formula One (considering he's learned something coz we never know) then I wish he can make a dominant season....If he didnt get a F1 title, who knows he can bring home an IndyCar trophy, this is a great pride for sure.

About his wife claiming Rubens would never drive in Indy because of the ovals, I don't think it's too difficult to convince your wife the contrary, specially this year with the new car and its safety improvements.
