Oriol Servia was on an Indy radio show yesterday & said that Newman/Haas had a major sponsorship deal fall through about 10 days back & that when that happened he figured the team wouldn't be in Indycar next year.

Maybe I'm looking too much into this, but Rahal-Letterman-Lanigan just put up a new album from when Kurt Busch tested a Champ Car in 03. Maybe a hint at an announcement?

the sec i saw busch was gone from penske i was soooo hoping he'd end up in indycar. he maybe a douche sometimes but he knows how to setup a car and it'd be interesting to see how well he could hop in an indycar and do

According to Schmidt's twitter, the announcement will happen in 10 mins time, but yeah, it will be Pagenaud alright.
