I hope we'll see V10-time straight line speeds, aka 360km/h ! :)

One of the things I don't like about F1 is the fact there isn't an event that can be labeled as the greatest race of the season, with it's own set of sporting rules and with extended entries, etc. Like the Indy 500, Daytona 500 or LM24.

Monaco has its own rules, with shorter distance and no safety :p

Nope, even Monaco has been sanitised in recent years.

Hope my man at least makes it to parrabollica unlike last year where i was dissapointed only to see him on parade lap.

Better safe than sorry. When I went to Monza in 2008 I assumed it would be bone dry like in previous years only to be completely soaked all three days :( Friday morning especially was just brutal.

Yup.

Gonna start a rant about gravel here:

Monza typifies what a circuit should look like: plenty of gravel everywhere - no get out clauses except for a few run-offs. Parabolica is a prime example, so are the Lesmos. Although they have that massive tarmac at Turn 3 and the exit of Ascari (although thats a classic turn: you take to the runoff there). Its just so much safer to have gravel; i can't understand why there's so much tarmac [/rant]

In the future, all circuits will be massive areas of tarmac with white lines painted on to mark the turns, track "edges" and pit lane. :yuk:

I'd probably rather have a Las Vegas race than in Abu Dhabi.

Don't know about you, but if I get all soaked up one day, I prepare myself for the next couple.

I was going to say the Top Gear test track but most F1 tracks would be easily copied and pasted here.

First weather forecast:
Early #F1 forecast for #Monza may suit Ferrari- high pressure dominating, plenty of sunshine and warm track temps. No rain. Air temps 26-29c

According to the official FIA preview:

The length of kerbing has been altered to prevent cars leaping across them. There are no other major changes.
