Did they replace the director? He covered that quite well.

I reckon if he had hit the crash barrier there a bit harder he might have flipped

Only thing that was missing was a full speed onboard replay but, well, nicely covered director.

Christ he was so, so close to the wall on the right. Biggest one of the year so far

Yeah they were live when it happened. Usually it takes them minutes to cut to the wrecked car.

Took me a while to work out who it was when live, thought it was a Williams at first.

Also, the slo-mo suggests it might not have been driver error. Sort of looked like something broke in the right rear as just before he lost it the car started snaking a bit.

Another replay! Wow.

So lucky not to the wall there. 8O 8O Wurz did hit there in 1998 race.

Possible explanations?
* hit some bump while braking
* brake balance adjusted badly

It actually made me nervous last year because they were taking 30-60 seconds to show the yellow flag incidents and I began wondering what were they not showing.

Ya, it was atleast a minute after the SC came out until we saw Barrichello's crash. I assumed there was a car in the harbour.

Rosberg locked the rears on cold tyres according to Schumacher's engineer

Low tyre pressure plus locked rears were the cause, according to Mercedes.
