TBH, I don't mind if Vettel keeps winning, so long as the racing is good, which it has been. I didn't even mind the Schumacher years as, whilst the racing was a bit pap, it was cool to watch history being re-written. I get a feeling we may be seeing it being re-written again with Vettel.

I disagree, I was depressed after almost every race in 2002.

At least there's still gravel there.

Except Monaco and the races after Schumi became champion.

2004 was actually quite good but for a few races. I think it helps because that was my first year watching proper and I look back on that with fond memories

Maybe because the last phew races where pretty epic. People tend to remember that the most, but still was a very frustrating year to watch for me.

OT - Monaco and Belgium were two pretty good races that year. Seem to remember a good one at Indy as well. Nowhere near as terrible as the 2002 season.

One of the media outlets has a big flip chart with the Barca & Man Utd crests on them and is getting all the drivers to predict the score. A lot have gone for Barca winning :p

Pretty much all of the Schumacher years were boring. In my opinion of course. :p 2003 had a few good races, but half of the season was poor as well. It was just different teams winning at different stages, and making the championship tight. It probably didn't help that I didn't really like Schumi. I think 1997 and 1999 are my 2 favourite seasons that I've actually seen live. And 1993 as it's the first full one I watched.

But anyway, I'm probably in the minority but I love this circuit. Apart from the chicane that really breaks the flow and spreads the cars out more than anything! The circuit doesn't suit modern F1 cars at all but it has some amazing fast big balls corners. Same with Magny Cours. I don't necessarily expect good races from them, but love the layouts.

I actually really like Magny Cours for the specatacle and the Euro circuits generally as they just look better and seem more natural. This circuit is great to watch a car at its limits but I hate the shitty chicane. Without it - I just watched Alonso's 2006 pole lap - its an awesome end to the lap. And surely without the chicane it would now be easier as the exit speed onto the pit straight would be greater, enabling the DRS to work more effectively.

I'm looking forward to this race :) If we get a good one here then we can have a good one anywhere :)

So is DRS the whole front straight or just part of it, maybe the entire length would be a bit to much like Turkey was,
